Here is June’s YR update for the County’s GOP newsletter:
Fellow Republicans,
2009 so far has been a very exciting year for the Young Republicans. We have seen our meeting attendance grow to 20-30 active young people, with new members every month. We have added a monthly Social Hour that has been a great outreach to people that normally wouldn’t get involved in politics. We have started a Community Outreach program, beginning by cleaning up parks in the heart of our city. It has been a busy, productive year for the YRs, and we look forward to doing even more going forward into next year’s elections.
With money we are raising over the year we will assist with phone banking, canvasing, and advertising to help strong, principled republicans get elected in Hamilton County. We have a strong, detailed plan to continue to grow our party’s foundation and prepare the leaders of tomorrow. Our meetings are open to all of Hamilton County so please join us to catch the excitement going on with the future of the Republican party!
Our next Social Hour is June 18th, 6:45pm, where we will meet at the Front Gate of AT&T Field to watch the Chattanooga Lookouts. On the 25th we will have our regular monthly meeting, location TBA.
